Apostille and legalization of Italian documents

Do you need an Italian document to be recognised in another country? We obtain the apostille or the consular legalization for you, whether you are in Verona or live abroad.

The apostille is a simplified form of legalization established by the 1961 Hague Convention for member countries; both apply only to public deeds and documents.

Living abroad? How the remote service works

You don't need to be in Verona. We handle the whole procedure for Italians and descendants living in the USA, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Australia, the UK, Switzerland, Germany and any other country:

  • Request the document: tell us what you need and we request it for you with a proxy form.
  • Sign the proxy remotely: we send you a form you can sign and return digitally or by post.
  • We follow the procedure with the Prefecture of Verona (or the competent office).
  • We ship the apostilled document by international courier with tracking, wherever you are.

International shipping usually takes 5–10 working days on top of processing time (from 7 working days).
